All thanks to the explosion that happened this morning at Singapore Power Building, I got to be an angel today.
It was a usual working day for me but at around 10am, the office suddenly black out. After a few minutes of waiting, my colleague then told me that she heard that the whole building was out of power. “Wow!” I thought, early morning and I have no work to do today haha. While I was day dreaming, another colleague walked past and said “Hey! The whole office is dark but you have got a little light beaming directly on you. You are like the angel!”
I immediately looked up and there it was, a backup light was directly above my head, shinning not only me but my work area too. It was so obvious to the others hahaha! Others were looking and I was enjoying my time being an angel basking in the ‘Holy Light’. But like all good things must come to an end, mine ended 10mins later. Then horrors came, my servers were down because that abrupt black out. I have had no internet connection nor sending and receiving of emails until 4pm+. 10mins of the day being angel but an hour time of overtime because of it. Pui!
